This literature guide is great. There are graphic organizers, outlines, chapter questions that aren't overhwhelming and chapter summaries (for those students who miss a chapter ). There are short writing assignments(articles and letters). The reading strategies are addressed such as cause and effect, sequencing, etc. Goes along great with our standards, and is totally appropriate for 4th-5th graders. I love the plot and character organizers. Really a great resource that I suspect was created by teachers!
