Teaching occupation,

This review is from: Teaching (Hardcover)
I haven't read this particular book before but would definetely like to more about it. I've been doing a lot of research in the regards to the teaching profession and would like to know more then what I've already learned so I would like to know if the book is for me. So far, I've learned that teachers do make a descent salary. They start off low but work their way to the top. There are many positive aspects to becoming a teacher such as being able to assist and teach the students, amazing work hours, as well as vacation during the holidays and summer time. Teachers are able to help teach students discipline and develop the students mentally, artictically, and even socially. While having a teaching occupation, teachers also learn as the students do day to day. They must have at least a four year degree as well. There are also negative aspects such as the dangers of being a teacher. I have found that there are teachers that get abused by the students. They must follow the guidelines of the district which because of the changes in education, have become teaching the students to take a test. There are overfilled classrooms which cause the teachers not to be able to give the attention that each student needs.
