5.0 out of 5 stars Teaching Peace
This has been a wonderful book to use for teaching great lessons with fun music. I am a volunteer music teacher in an elementary school and they children love the beats and rythms of these songs. Great book.

2.0 out of 5 stars a little disappointing
in my opinion, songs are too similar to each other. i don't know, i just expected more activities to go along with the songs, more useful teacher's notes...

4.0 out of 5 stars Two performance gems, June 30, 2011

I have listened to hundreds of children's songs for my 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students to sing. Red Grammer's "Hooray for the World" and "I Think You're Wonderful" are both in my top 5 so far. These two songs are absolute gems. Like me, you may not favor some of the songs on this CD, but you will get more than your money's worth just for these two songs. We have performed the songs to our school and because of the buoyant lyrics and catchy melodies, our limited-experience singers shone. The accompaniment tracks are great for us in practice and performance because I don't play piano.Teach some ASL to go with the songs and prepare to be wowed.
