Editorial Reviews

Review

This...book is a veritable gold mine of valuable information for classroom teachers. Even if one were to carry out only a few of the activities, the book would be well worth its price. I highly recommend the book for the professional shelf of a school library or a teacher's personal collection. --Science Activities, Fall 1996 --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

4.0 out of 5 stars Connect Science and Literature, June 30, 2008

This book has a wealth of literature connected to science skills and concepts. It is easily organized by common science concepts for primary and intermediate-age students. The trade books used for each lesson are classics that you probably already have on your classroom bookshelves!

If you teach thematically or integrate science and reading, this is a must-have resource!
