Joseph Tsujimoto's book is the best resource I've find in my 18 years of teaching to help teenagers write poetry. It's a favorite on my bookshelf

I used this book in the teaching of poetry to middle schoolers and can't recommend it enough. Fabulous suggestions for turning kids into poets. We had a lot of fun trying out Tsujimoto's clever ideas.
