About the Author

Melody Bradbury-Wolff has taught for 18 years in grades K-4. She is currently a first grade teacher at Homan Elementary School in Schereville, IN, where she has taught for seven years. Melody holds a Master's degree in Elementary Administration.

Bette S. Bergeron, Ph.D., is a Professor of Education and the Head of the Faculty of Education at Arizona State University East. Her area of specialty is elementary literacy. Bergeron worked with Bradbury-Wolff in her classroom for 3 years to develop the ideas in this book.
