Teak wood is a dense, course grained hardwood that is widely known for its durability. Our Teak product originates on an environmentally friendly plantation regulated by the Indonesian government who set guidelines as to the number and size of trees which can be harvested, as well as the numbers of trees which are replanted for future generations.
Grade A / B designates the type of teak used in this rocking chair. A / B means that the quality of the wood is high and that color-matching will be good throughout the product. Unlike many other teak chairs, our product contains zero wood filler.
The solid teak rocking chair has been engineered for outdoor use at every step: the wood has been 100% kiln-dried, all hardware is finished to resist rust, glue is non-water soluble, slats are cut to shape; and construction is mortise and tenon with hardware reinforcements at key stress points.
Shipped partially assembled to meet UPS and FedEx Ground guidelines, and to keep the price to you as reasonable as possible, the Teak Rocking Chair takes most people about 15 minutes to assemble.
