Worms on Xbox Live Arcade is a good game, and multi-player is quite fun. But as a fan of the series, I was disappointed with the things that were removed from the title. The number of weapons is much lower. Multiplayer is fun, but the AI opponents in single player take a frustratingly long time to make their moves. The selection of voice sets for your worms isn't as funny as they were in the retail games. With these criticisms stated, I still am glad to have Worms in my arcade and fire it up regularly for a fun match or two.

Worms is a fun little time killer totally worth your 5 bucks. The single player mode can get pretty difficult, but of course the real fun is playing with a friend. There isn't a whole lot of substance here to keep your attention for more than a few days, but it's a fun distraction from the more deeply involving games. If your idea of a good time is chucking exploding sheep at a group of enemy worms or just dropping some dynamite at their "feet", then this is the strategy game for you.
