This is an excellent and informative book. Through much observation, Marlis Amato has identified the language horses use to communicate with each other, thereby enabling humans to better communicate with them. She has simplified the methods used in natural horsemanship. Instead of giving your horse "cues," you're using movements and body language that they inherently understand. I believe this is the "next wave" in natural horsemanship.

This book thoroughly explain the nature of horses and how they communicate. And in details Marlis Amato explain how human beeings can apply the equus language to communicate with horses. It has taught me how to read my horse and "talk to him" in an equus way. This knowledge has really improved the relationship between me and my horse. Thank you, Marlis Amato. I'd like to see more videos on you tube. Or do you have some for sale?

This offered some of the answers that I needed to the natural approach I was trying to use for overcoming some bad previous training. I found myself wanting to e-mail the author to ask specific questions about my situation. However, using her suggestions is certainly helping and has made me more aware of mistakes that I was making.
