I bought a mini-t a couple months ago and its great!
It's the type of car that you need to upgrade which
makes it fun. It can go about 17 mph with an upgraded
motor and a 7.2v battery pack
I'd recommend getting this car if you are
starting in rc.

For those of you who want stadium truck racing to go anywhere, the mini t is a good purchase. The stock mini t gets up to speeds around 10mph. The chasis is very light and durable and unlike other minis it uses a servo saver to protect your steering. Once you add upgrades such as a new motor and a rechargable battery, this truck will drive like the 1/10 scale trucks.

This is a real deal RC car, with a price for kids. Its a great beginners car, highly recommend for kids. Car comes with complete parts list, with prices.

Would recommend getting rechargeable AA batteries at minimum.

We bought this car for our 6 year old twins birthday. It's a fantastic starter car for them! Very durable, it's been run into several walls and such already!

Purchased this because of the cheap price, it run's great right out of the box.
The perfect car for someone entering the RC world. With alot of upgrades, its a good little car
to start people out learning out how to work on RC cars. But for those without a steady hand or good eyes,
working on some parts because of the 1/18 size some of the parts are very very small....

I bought this intending to drive it around the office and on the roof of our building, just for some fun when work slows down. It does that just fine. It's small, light, turns quickly, but it's not as fast as I initially assumed. I upgraded the electronics to use a 7-cell pack, which unfortunately requires replacing the ESC, receiver and steering servo, as they're all combined into a horrendous plastic maelstrom. The speed picked up noticeably.

It doesn't hold up so well at the track. Without properly damped shocks ("friction damped" by default), the car bounces around all over the place and frequently loses control. It has a high center of gravity compared to its big brother, so it flips over all the time, and even with the 7-cell pack, doesn't have the speed to clear any real jumps. Also, the turnbuckles are small aluminum threaded rods, and bend very easily. There are a few companies that offer replacement shocks and turnbuckles, but that's up to you to decide if it's worth it.

It's still a fun little car to play with. With a few upgrades to the suspension and motor, it will hold up much better on a track. It turns well and is very nimble. It's so much fun to keep up with the other drivers because you can make much quicker turns in smaller spaces. I'm going to leave mine how it is, as it's still plenty of fun with just a bit more speed.

The mini-t goes realy fast. It went faster when
I got bearings and a speed motor. The body looks really cool. It can go off road. I got it new tires. It will go off jumps and not get broken. You can buy so many hop up parts for it.
