Remarkable book,
This review is from: Team;: A high school odyssey (Hardcover)
This is a remarkable book about the Yorktown ("Laketown"), NY high school football team in the early 1970s. This books stands the test of time, and compares favorably to Buzz Bissinger's Friday Night Lights. Except that that the coach for Yorktown, Buddy Douds ("Fowler") really cares about the players.
