An action guide for team members to strengthen performance. A step-by-step approach to identifying the key elements of effective teams. "Teams at Work" offers a clear model for diagnosing and strengthening a team. This book provides practical tools to help team members master concepts and put their knowledge into action.
Born in RI into a family of eight, I graduated from Cranston High East and Rhode Island College. I taught dance and English at the Gordon School in East Providence before moving to Pennsylvania and pursuing a Masters in Counseling at Lehigh University. After 7 years in counseling, I attended Temple University where I earned my PhD in Organization Development. My first two books (Teams At Work & The Participative Leader)were published in 1992. Later I wrote Create A Life That Tickles Your Soul (a book about reinventing your life at any age),and Recharge in Minutes ( 101 ways to destress and kick up your success on a daily basis).
I now write a newspaper column, Talk About Living!, and travel around the US as a motivational speaker.
