I received this as a gift. We thoughly enjoyed it. If you have seen the Numi Flowering Tea Gift Set, you will notice that this teapot is about a third larger (24oz vs 16 oz). It says the pot is dishwasher safe, but it is so easy to handwash that I would not risk it. The pot is studier than the Numi pot, but didn't look like it would survive the dishwasher.

The blooming tea including was very pretty.The tea was very good. I found the Numi teas to be better so will probably keep buying the Numi refills and using this pot.

If you know a tea lover and need a gift, this set would be very much appreciated.

My husband gave this to me as a gift recently. I just made my first pot and I absolutely love it. There is no problem with the thickness of the glass, that's just silly - don't put it through the dishwasher, though! The tea is delicious and very fragrant, and needs very little sweetener. The teas are a little expensive, but this isn't your average supermarket tea, and I say it's definitely worth it. And supposedly you can brew each bloom more than once. I haven't tried that yet, but if you can make multiple pots of tea per blossom, then it's definitely worth the $$$.

I would recommend - if you're not planning on sharing the tea or if only one person will be drinking this - to invest in a warmer to keep the tea hot.

Bought this as a Thank You gift for my friend, I still have yet to actually see it, since I shipped it to her house and keep forgetting to mention it when I'm over. She said it was adorable and a great gift and really seemed to like it.

Very nice teapot, looks a little small but holds enough tea for 2 large cups and is perfect for flowering teas. Despite it's delicate look, it is very sturdy. We are very happy with this teapot, it was bought as a replacement to a less expensive teapot that was already broken upon opening the box (other teapot was bought from a store, not through Amazon.com) Flowering teas are awesome for anyone who truly wants to enjoy their tea experience!!

I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my aunt who enjoys tea. I thought this would be a neat idea. I haven't given it to her yet so I don't know how it works but the glass on the tea pot was extremely thin. The thinness of the glass alone makes me feel that price I was charged was not worth it.
