The kit includes a 128 page book, small tea pot, two small tea cups and two tea bags. The book is great. It is a quick read and full of information. Though it is best suited for novice tea enthusiasts. Each topic is covered in only one to ten pages, like an executive summary. There are tons of full-color photos. Several recipes are included: Chai, Green Chai, Orchard tea, Summer tea, Apricot Samovar, Halakahiki tea, Black Russian tea, Planters' tea, Royal Bengal tea, and Evening Mist.
