I ordered this item as a gift for my mother but ended up falling in love with it! It's a nice quality crystal and weighty. In strong sunlight, this crystal makes what seems like hundreds of rainbows in various sizes. Spin the crystal and it's like standing in a swirl of fairy lights. I was like a little kid, smiling ear-to-ear, watching the display! I've ordered two more--one for my mother and another for my former supervisor who also loves sparkly things. This is more than worth the price. If you like sparkly stuff, order more than one because you may want one in every window of your house!

I recommend this prism because it's large and makes a room colorful when the sun's rays strike it directly.

In fact, I purchased 6 different prisms through Amazon, and this one makes FAR more vivid rainbows than the others.

The hole for the string/thread/wire is a bit small as it probably should be, and this prism hangs very well. It looks impressive like a big diamond and clearly has enough crystal to call attention to itself. In calling attention to itself, it subtracts some negativity or potential negativity from the environment in my opinion.

What surprised me was that for having about 40% crystal, it produced the rainbow effect very well. The colors are vibrant beyond all expectation.

Compared to others the price seemed favorable. I ordered others after seeing how nice this was in the expectation that variety in prisms hanging at one window would be good. I use them at my office, but only this one produces rainbows with strong colors.

These were probably nice crystals when they were placed into the packing box. But when their protective plastic envelopes were placed empty below the half-inflated airbags with the two crystals folded inside, the crystals were free to bang around inside the loosely packed box, chipping off their edges and leaving the box with glass shards in the bottom. Why enclose the baggies with their sad little labels if the crystals were not inside them? They were ziploc-ed up, so the crystals didn't fall out. Did Davidson Lighting have their four-year-old doing their packing? Who throws crystals loose into a box and mails them?

I can't tell you how pleased I am with these crystals. I was recently teaching a class on feng shui, and already own a few beautiful crystals which I've toted around for years. I have more windows in my new place and wanted to add to my collection. I'm so glad I did! These are by far the superior, most beautiful and dazzling crystals I've seen! And at an amazing price! (My old ones came with a fancy chain, but were $30 or more a piece.)

These produce large numbers of rainbows (maybe around 50), splattered very evenly all over the entire room, with solid, bright--no, VIBRANT bold rainbow colors! My old crystals produce maybe a dozen with softer, muted colors. These are simply gorgeous! I've decided to give them as holiday gifts and just ordered a bunch more. They really brighten up and enliven a room! My kitty likes to play in the rainbows and rolls around in them, and my child delights in being in them, too! (He's a teen who's way too cool for that sort of thing.) Makes the room feel great!

This is a great prism. Very large and casts a large rainbow. I highly recommend this.

Ordered this for my sisters window. I really had NO IDEA how huge and how beautiful it would be! Im getting MORE!!!!

this is a very large, fairly heavy and beautifully prism, exactly as the description and just what I wanted!!!!

Outstanding rainbow patterns on my walls every afternoon when the sun hits. Not plastic junk but high quality crystal. They were exactly as advertised and delivered promptly.

My mother-in-law wanted a prism for her 82nd birthday. My wife and I chose this one & it's great! The rainbows are filled with brilliant colors!

dissatisfied.... has a crack at the hole site, most likely from drillling (not from shipping), if not for that, it would have been what i wanted. Does catch the light and creates beautiful rainbows.
