Finally I got my hands on Tears Of A Clown by Andre nickatina, former Dre Dog. As his other album his beats are tight but what always impresses me about Andre Nickatina is what a great lyricist he is. His lyrics are always original and surprising, and his delivery is with so much strenght and passion that it's hard to sit down. Have you seen the Wild Pitch-ad for their re-issuing of old classics? Their slogan matches the feeling I get from listening to this album:"...When MCs had skills." I can't pick out any favourite, because the whole album is great. When it closes with an accapella freestyle it leaves you gasping for air. Don't sleep on Andre Nickatina.

There are some really good songs on here...definitely worth checking out. Like the other reviews state this cd is better then Raven in My Eyes....

Tears of A Clown is one of tha best rap cds out this year... I've had it fo' four months an it hasn't gotten old yet. The beats are tight and the lyrics are sicc. Don't skip this one.

Dre Dog once again proves he is the best rapper ever. His flows are untouchable and the beats are original and hard hitting.

hey my "real" name is Oscar and this CD is unbelievable! Andre reaches your minds and just makes you think about rap like never before. his lyrics are hard and truth explaining. if you're a true rap lover you'll love his music. remember lyrics first and then come the beats!

This is a great CD. There are a few weak tracks but tha majority is tight. Best song is my rap world. But there are many others.

I think this is the best one yet. His flows are like uncontested in the "Rap World". If you like rap youll like this.
