Editorial Reviews

Review

The Biomechs in this series rock. A cross between a man and a troll but outfitted with armor, the strength and reactions to be the ultimate bad guys. An accessible series - a good read :) - E Bridges

I had recently read the first book in the Star Crusades series (which was excellent) and I decided to read the sequel, Tears of Kerberos. I loved the action sequences. I would recommend this novel to anyone that likes sci-fi, action adventure novels. I'm looking forward to reading the next book by this author.- Lee Gimenez

There are more characters and the ending is a great setup for what I am sure will be an exciting third book. The idea of the CES armor, biomechs and the relatvely crude weapons makes for a cross between warhammer and middle ages! Plot, charcters and writing are spot on, well worth a read and light on the wallet too! - Stitch Jones

I'm just about to start book three and I am really enjoying the story line so far. BUT! will someone from the publisher please proof read the damn stories. Stop using the word whilst so much, and check for extra words that are not needed. It's at the point were I'm re-writing the story in my head so it makes sence.

This is a great second book in the series. I found this a lot meatier than the first book, which centered mainly around Spartan's Marine training, far more action and intrigue and ended on a cliff hanger. Already bought Book Three - and the romantic in me is hoping for more to develop between Spartan and Teresa, but that might just be me!

Honestly I was a bit disappointed with this one. For what it was it was a good book. but all the pieces were there for more. We have fleet battles, but our main character wasn't really in volved with that. We have ground battles. and sure our guy is pivitol in one or two of them. He's still just a small time pounder.

That said there is lots of good action.

The story continues with losses and trouble. If you enjoyed but wanted more character development will appreciate this one. The battles are bigger and so are the problems!

As a huge fan of sci fi, this book caught my attention and definitely did not disappoint. I travel a lot and I read book after book each week to pass time quickly while traveling.

The story is fast paced and rich with detail. The characters are solid and interact well together. It was very easy to get caught up in the story.

I was glad to come across this author and will definitely be reading his other books.

I enjoyed this book a lot. Definitely recommend.

I'm delighted in reading this series and can hardly wait for the following book to turn out! This was as great as the previous series. It stretches the clashes and characters which bring about a amazing adventure filled with action. I recommend this novel to anybody that likes science fiction, and action.
