Though not a Cat Stevens follower, this album is absolutely incredible. Anyone and everyone who listens to it will be touched in some way. It is unfortunate that to many, he is still an undiscovered jewel. Cat Stevens is a soulful songwriter who graces us with a soothing voice. A blessing to music.

The Beach and a dark apartment, dank and thrown about like a buoy in a storm. This cd played all night over and over until it infused with the moment and became the repetitive soundtrack for a time long past. That was my first experience with Cat Stevens. And I can't imagine appreciating him without that moment. Very sappy, melodramatic and at times just silly. But beutifully representative of a time that will never again be. That's what I think most people of any age hear when they listen to Cat Stevens. Another time, another place.

If you haven't replaced your old vinyl album, do it now. If you have never heard it, get this CD. If "Moonshadow" leaves you limp, listen to "If I Laugh" and "How Can I Tell You." And who would believe that Cat can sing in Greek ("Rubylove"). It's a "must have" I recommend to everyone.
