Product Description

The Teaze infuser is a revolutionary new method of steeping loose leaf tea by the cup. Insert your desired dry tea or herbal tisane leaf into the steeping chamber, add hot water and watch the leaves tumble as the tea develops to the desired color and intensity. To dispense, simply place the Teaze infuser on top of any standard mug or cup. This step activates the flow-through valve, and allows the liquid to filter into your cup. A novel, practical visual experience for home, casual dining, or office.

We already knew we liked this infuser, having used at City O' City restaurant in Denver, but it gets better.
The company that actually shipped it, Tea Amore, apparently noticed that we bought 5 of them 2 months before X-Mas
and put two and two together. They all arrived nicely giftwrapped in gold paper, and they even included a few ounces of very good tea!
And fast, too.

Wow.Just,wow.

I bought the Teaze tea infuser at an organic cafe after I was served my tea in it. There's something meditative about seeing the tea steep and then dispensing the tea yourself in such a different way. Geeky, yes. But very much had a feeling of a personal mini tea ceremony! I save even more time by brewing my hot water through my Keurig. And it has certainly upped my loose tea purchasing, which I find economical and love the difference in quality and taste you can find at all kinds of stores (Wegman's is my favorite). I don't understand the complaining about the leaking -that's what the "saucer" is for and it doesn't leak anymore than the mess a tea bag and spoon would cause. Cleaning is a breeze -dump the loose tea leaves (try reusing the leaves a second time!) and just give a rinse and wipe. BPA free, too. Claims to be shatterproof, which while I have not personally tested yet :D, the ladies at the cafe said the steeper definitely has held up bouncing off their ceramic flooring. Fabulous little product! I am totally addicted and highly recommend!

This is far superior to a teapot for one or two people, and it goes in the dishwasher. Great product.

This is a great infuser. I use it for both tea and coffee. It comes apart easy enough, and can be thoroughly cleaned. You can take the entire assembly apart into it's various pieces and they all go back together quite well. That said, the plastic used for o-ring on the hole and the part that sits above the o-ring, stained easily and retains some of the coffee smell. The filter works for most of the tea I use, though the mate and my coffee both occasionally get a sediment in the cup. However using this I was able to cut my cream and milk usage to nothing because the freedom of the infuser allows for a better exposure to the leaves/grounds, in much the same way a French press does. Great product

Best purchase I have ever made when it comes to tea products, it definitely deserves 5 stars for ease of use and quality. I can finally use my loose Green Tea leaves and not have any floating around in my mug.

I use these for tea, (haven't had coffee in over a decade) and these are superb. Just add the loose tea, pour in water, and let steep to your desire. Once accomplished, just place unit over cup and pour out your liquid refreshment.

This is much better than a mere filter, this allows the time to steep before pouring into cup

NOTE: the bottom of the unit is meant to fit a regular sized cup, should you have a jumbo mug, you can easily negotiate how to depress the plunger and enjoy your brew.

This Teaze Tea Infuser has secured me as a tea drinker.

A newly acquired employee at my company had worked as a Manager at a tea joint.
I knew nothing of tea and this tea infuser not only works great but because its so easy to clean.

This item is a no brainer in my opinion if you enjoy drinking tea.
if you have only drank tea bag teas in the past I encourage you to expand your horizons and come to the brighter side where tea has flavor, expansion and aroma.

This infuser works in a fashion unlike I would have expected an infuser to work in that the bottom is designed in such a way that when the unit is placed on a cup (small enough) or partially placed on a larger cup/mug the recently brewed tea will dispense through the bottom.

The fact that you can see the tea color through the dispenser/infuser is also great. This allows those that like judging their tea by the color ease of use.

I bought this as a gift for someone else already and I've only had mine for two weeks.

Give it a try..its 22 or 23 dollars shipped to me (got here in 2 days) and affords novice and expert tea drinkers a fantastic way to brew/steep tea and clean up afterwards.

Unit consists of two parts; the container and a removable filter that snaps into place.
The lid is firm and attached well.

The infuser also comes with a 'stand/coaster' of sorts that u place the infuser on.

Great product!

Though I have been a tea drinker all my life and much prefer loose tea, I only recently was introduced to these infusers. They work so much better than the little perforated or screen spoons or the little baskets you hang in your cup. If you are not familiar with them, the way they work is you put a teaspoon of loose tea in the infuser, add boiling water and allow the infuser to sit till the tea is brewed. They provide a guide for the different types of tea. Then you place it on top of any standard cup - I haven't found one it won't fit on yet - and the tea strains into your cup with nary a stray tea leaf. It tends to drip a tiny bit on occasion as it brews but they provide a little plastic saucer thing to catch that and it is really only a few drops. All in all, I think it is totally ingenuous and have bought another for a good friend as a gift.
