5.0 out of 5 stars Freedom From Chargers!
We bought one of these 48-pack boxes before heading to Africa on safari and it really saved the day. Unable to recharge batteries in the bush or in flight, we took over 1,000 photographs ahd listened to CDs on 48 hours on the plane flights, and we had plenty left when we gt home. They worked great, and were much less expensive the equivalent brand name stuff.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful!!!! Worst batteries ever!
I used to think that all betteries were pretty much the same, that is until I tried some of these Tech B batteries. I have this cheap mp3 player that uses a single AA battery and will run for a whopping 2 hours on one of these batteries. When I popped in an Rayovac, it lasted for 6 hours. I guess you get what you pay for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I thought, January 29, 2005
This review is from: Tech B BTAA4801 AA Alkaline Batteries 48-Pack (Electronics)
Bought these batteries as filler and was really surprised at quality. Thought maybe price was too good to be true but the ones I have used so far have lasted longer in my digital camera than many of the premium brans I have purchased before. Great deal for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Business User here, and they work just fine thank you., July 27, 2005
This review is from: Tech B BTAA4801 AA Alkaline Batteries 48-Pack (Electronics)
Well, after seeing some of the bad reviews here, I just had to share my experience.

I bought about 500 hundred of these batteries to use in our GMRS Radios that we use every day at work. The previous batteries we were using were Panasonic and Maxell alkalines. We have noticed NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL in the battery life of the Tech-B vs. the previous batteries. We are getting 7-9 days of 8-10 hour per day use, and these radios vibrate with each call as well.

This is exactly the same as our previous alkalines. Also, I have now opened about 200 of these batteries and have not seen a single defective battery.

Don't let the price and reviews scare you, these are very good alkalines and will work just fine.

My daughter uses a Cochlear Implant that has the option of being powered by 3 AA batteries. We have tried several brands trying to find the ones that last the longest. We have tried Energizer, Duracell, etc. She needs to replace them every day and a half. Since the Implant is a high power draining device, every extra hour counts. These batteries are one of the best values out there.

It is pretty cheap stuff. I did not expect excellent quality, however, in my speedlite 420, it works excellently, and supposed to provide more than 300 flashes with a focal length average of 70.

I bought three boxes of these and have had great success with them. I can't tell the difference between these and Duracell's or Energizers. Very pleased with my purchase. I will buy some more.

Nothing great - don't expect to have long-life and high drain. But if you want a bunch for use in all the kids' toys, clocks, alarms... good deal

I have used about half of these batterys. Mostly in clocks and different items around the house, but also I used them in the flash for my camera and they held up real good.

I have a lot of rechargeable batterys, but these are better because they last a lot longer. Often the rechargeable batterys only last for a few months if that long. Alkaline batteries for me can last for up to a year and longer.

If Amazon went back to free shipping on these then I would buy them up and give them to friends as a gift or a prize. I do not know what the shipping is, but it may still be worthwhile. I just know so far these batteries have held up real good and I would highly recommend them.
