I got 2 of these, one for my 2-year-old daughter and one for my 3-year-old niece. They LOVE them! They like the idea that they can take real pictures, just like Mommy. It does require a pretty steady hand to capture clear pictures, but they don't seem to mind the blurriness. I think it's great that this teaches them how to find an object on the screen and hold the camera steady to photograph it. I was amazed at how quickly both girls figured out how to use the different feature buttons on the back to add the different princesses into the pictures. The different buttons are pretty easy to figure out because each one has a little picture showing what the button does. We didn't even really have to read much of the instruction booklet. Also...I don't think the description tells you this, but the SD memory card slot is hidden beneath the crown on top. This also comes with a wrist strap and the cords it comes with to connect it to you computer & TV are even pink!

I bought the Lightning McQueen version of this camera for my 3-year-old nephew last year, and he loves it. So did his little sister... so to help settle the disputes that eventually developed, I ended up getting her the princess version for her 2nd birthday. She is able to use it reasonably well, partly because she already had some practice with her brother's, but also because the controls are pretty intuitive. Obviously she's not going to get any of her pictures in the Guggenheim just yet, but she can take a pretty decent snapshot and she's absolutely crazy about her "crambra". I looked at some other brands of cameras, particularly because I thought it might be more educational to have a normal-looking camera, but those smaller, realistic cameras are harder for toddlers to hold, not as rubberized and durable, and they're like 0.2 megapixels. As in, one fifth of one megapixel. I can't even imagine what a 0.2 megapixel photo looks like. Everybody must come out looking like a character from Super Mario Bros or something. This one is (literally) ten times better.

As an added bonus, once she had this one she never looked at her brother's camera again. And there's no way her brother is going to steal this pink, bejeweled monstrosity! Everyone is happy!

i got this for my daughter for her fourth birthday and she loves it, the pictures arn't the best but i dropped it on concret and it still works great, no damage was taken. my daughter loves to add the princesses in with her picture, and it can take video with the princesses in the frame, plus she can work it by herself with no trouble.

This is a great camera. My 6 year old daughter loves to my "Vlogs" and I put all the little videos she does into a folder. She is going to love looking back on them when shes older. I love that im not the only one sticking a camera in peoples faces to capture our family memories. The pictures arent the best, but Its great for a first camera for little ones that might break things easily. I would buy it for the video feature alone. Definetely get rechargable batteries for it because my daughter goes through those like crazy. A++
