My son received this toy as a gift for his 1st birthday. I think he would have used it even before that! It is very versatile, has lots of activities, and keeps his interest very well.

Here are some of the fun things baby can do:
** play the piano keys
** push the car using the handle at the back to hear a song or phrase
** pull the car using the pull cord to hear a song or phrase
** push one of the 3 light up percussion buttons to hear bells, maracas, or drums/cymbals (or a phrase about the instrument)
** push one of the percussion buttons while a song is playing to change the percussion in that song
** push down on one of the characters to hear a musical concept and song or rhythm that reinforces the concept
** turn the wheel to hear a song or phrase
** turn the wheel while a song is playing to speed it up or slow it down

Features that mom likes:
** off switch and two volume settings (the lowest setting is a little loud for my taste, but not too bad; we never use the higher setting!). Also has an auto shut off feature to save on batteries.
** variety of musical songs and styles - some classical, some traditional, and even a little rock n' roll ditty!
** introduces concepts such as loud/quiet, fast/slow, high/low and provides musical examples of each
** can be used as a push toy or a pull toy with a simple turn of the screwdriver (the pull cord is hidden in a little compartment at the front of the car - you need to take it out if you want baby to use it!)
** easy to change batteries when needed (you will know when you need to change them - the toy goes crazy when the batteries are low!)
** seems to be quite durable - it has survived being rammed into walls & furniture, sat on, flipped over, and run off the couch onto the floor. It is still going strong!

Though I did not purchase this toy, I am glad that we received it as a gift! The musical lessons my son is being introduced to are wonderful, and I am enjoying this toy as much as he is!

Ok, I must admit that my son has a lot of toys but this one just stands out to me. My son immediately started pressing the buttons even before it was out of the box. I really like the music and of course it has a handy on and off button if you do not like it as much as I do. The handle is a nice feature and mine does not have a pull cord even though the picture online looks as if it might have one. I only wish that I had bought this car for my son even earlier than his first birthday. He would have enjoyed the lights and music even before he could push it around.

My 14 month old grandson is car crazy and music crazy. This toy combines his two favorites things, and once it was out of the box it instantly became his favorite toy. The handle on the back is perfect for pushing around when crawling, and the colorful car plays tunes as it's pushed along. He'll also sit and play with the different buttons and listens to the music, particularly a few tunes that match up with his Little Einstein videos. Very durable, easy to clean and has lower volume button so the whole house doesn't have to listen to it. A+++ in my grandson's book!
