The songs offered are very short - we can only sing along with the last parts of the songs. Also, the review comments are very repetitive. We also wished we could skip some of the review steps, but that feature is not offered - you have to sit through all the reviews before you can sing again. It's an OK toy - needs more flexibility to be an outstanding toy.

Easy to set up, instructions were easy to follow. Worked well, but make sure that you have a TV with three input jacks. Santa delivered this to Grandma's house while we were there, but their TV wouldn't work with it. Our TV at home works fine, but only with the input jacks on the back of the set (the front ones - two input jacks - don't work for this toy).

This product is one of the worst games I have ever played. It was difficult to hook up to the TV because you have to have it run through your dvd player. The back of my dvd player is not all that easy to reach. The song choices are very few and it only had a portion of the songs to sing. It was not even a complete song. After playing it with my 9 year old daughter we packed it up and shipped it back. Don't waste your $. Even if you are a big Idol fan like my family, you will be very disappointed.

I am definitely a fan of this product. I gave one to my niece who is 13 and obsessed with it for her birthday. She says it is one of her best presents. And amazon ships fast!

This product is a total waste of money. The songs are abbeviated versions of the American Idol performances, not the complete songs themselves. As a result, they're impossible to sing to, and cut off before they reach the end. My daughter is a huge American Idol fan, and loves to sing . . . and she absolutely hates this toy. Avoid it at all costs.

Product works as described. The only complaint I have is that if you choose to sing along with one of the contestants they do not sing the entire song, just a few seconds of it. It would be nice if they sang the entire song. I have not yet seen if it's any different if you sing without a contestant. This was a Christmas gift for my 9 year old daughter. I bought it at half the normal price, so for that price it was worth it. Had I paid full price I would have been disappointed. It would also be nice if it was easier to find the other cd's that go with it. I'm having trouble finding those.

Works great, my daughter loved it. Probably for the younger kids up to about 7 years of age. It is inexpensive so to a degree you do get what you pay for.

I got one of these for my niece a few years back. This held her attention for a long time, which is surprising because she is one of those kids who pays toys no mind. She is a teenager now, and she still break it out from time to time.

Save your money. This product is horrible. My kids used it once and it's been in the closet since. It's not even as good as our karoke machine.

I purchased this product last Christmas for my daughter and within hours it's fun was exhausted because of the limited songs and things that you can do with it.
I sent it back immediately and this year I purchased a regular karaoke machine for birthday last Sept it was a far better choice. My kids are 7 and 10 and both love to use the karaoke machine and even I like to get on it once in a while.

This was my 12 year old daughter's "had to have" thing this past christmas. She was so excited to receive it then...boom! She discovered you can't sing solo without backgrounds from other peolpe, and now hasn't touched it. It would have been nice if they mentioned that in the description before I ordered it. Over all, the service was fast and excellent, but will probably collect dust!
