I use a lot of blades in my line of work (printing / signage) and decided to try to save some money with this order. Honestly, these might be the sharpest and strongest blade I've used so far. Using exacto blades, I'm always breaking the points off and I'm lucky if I get 4-6 good cuts out of the blade before it's dull and starts leaving rough edges on the foam board I'm cutting. With these, I was able to get at least 8-10 cuts out of each blade before replacing. So, with these I'm getting more cuts per blade and I'm paying a lot less per blade. It's a win-win.

Even with the shipping it was impossible for me to beat this price.
My Take:
1.MADE IN USA
2.Cuts into the shiny side of packing tape far better than my x-acto blades
3. Magnifying glass exam shows a more pronounced second hone than x-acto. I believe this finer edge may dull quicker but man is it sharper to start with. Cuts me real good too.
3. Did I say Cheap
Would buy again if I live long enough to use up the first 100

I use these blades every day. I use them as part of my art process [...]and go through hundreds of blades a month, so as far as size 11 "hobby" sized blades go, you might as well refer to me as an expert! I promarily use these blades but have occasionally had to settle for exacto blades when I don't have time to order the techni edge ones. The tips of these ones, I've noticed, don't break as easily as the exacto brand and you just get that little bit of extra cutting out of them. There's nothing worse than when that very tip chips off of your blade! Especially if like me, you're using the blades for a fine amount of detail. These are the blades you want if you want a quality blade (and they're cheaper than exacto too so double bonus!)

These blades are your standard #11 sized blades that fit into any hobby knife vise.

In a side by side comparison with other brands there does not seem to be any outstanding differences. One thing to note is that they seem to lose their edge a bit quicker than X-acto's however; when you compare price point, it really can't be beat.

I am an architecture student who relies heavily on these blades for modeling. I tried out this brand and am thoroughly disappointed. The blades are sharp for a very short amount of time (only one or two cuts) before they go to pot. I do not recommend this product -- stick with name brand supplies.

I purchased these because they were made in USA. Big mistake. If you just need a utility type of blade these are ok. If you something that will hold an edge and do intricate cutouts for frisketing or delicate work these are not for you. The point is not that sharp to begin with and goes away quickly. They are no where near the quality of xacto brand blades and not as good as Hobby Lobby branded blades. I was very disappointed. Save your money and order Xacto brand.

When doing pop-up cards and origami architecture you need very sharp blades for your cutting knife. Why pay more for other brands when these blades are just as good.
