I own half a dozen books on hvac. I have to say, I got lucky on this one. It is the encyclopedia of hvac that I've alway wanted. I consider myself a apprentice/journeyman and this book has mostly everything I need to know right now. The author speaks so plainly that anyone can understand it. No mumble jumbo. Just ton's of infomation, from superheat, to commercial boxes, to residential to basics, tools, refrigerants. Did you know that r502 may have a dip tube in the tank? Truely, I will read every chapter in this book. It may not be the only book you will ever need, but it it clearly a 'must have' for every person learning the trade, and then some! Endless informative remarks like, '..be sure there is a load on the evap...' when doing this test....etc. It's just full of stuff you just gotta know and stuff you want to know. Myself, I am expanding into the commercial world of refrigeration and want to know more! And this book is it! No fluff,,, all hard core, straight talk!

I have been waiting for over a month for my book to be delivered. I was told that the email got lost among the many emails sent to this web site daily...I am still waiting for my book even though I was told on 5/4 that the book would be sent priority mail due to the delay.I am still waiting for my book to be delivered, at this point I am not happy with this service..Marcia Ellis
