The theory and examples are well researched and go right to the heart of the issues. This is a great reference book if you want to take your company safety program from basics to more mature. This is a tough slog to get thru. there is A LOT of information and concepts here. Give yourself time to read and reflect, this is a text book not a light read!

The book I bought turned out to be Petersen's 3rd edition of Safety Management Techniques. Twenty years old. No good for my safety classes. Beware-------I found out the hard way that you MUST check and see which edition you are getting from a seller. The Fourth is the one you need in this instance.
