Interesting.....,

Wow. Now, the other reviews that say, "THIS IS TECHNO?" are half right, half wrong. Some of the songs are cheezy, and really not what I would classify as "techno". But, some of the song are really good techno, like the Ferry Corsten hit "Rock Your Body, Rock", and DJ Tiesto's "Traffic" is pretty awesome, too. Also, the hit from when my parents were my age, "Classical Gas" which was originaly played on the gutair, was made into a techno song! This is a wonderful track.
But, unfortunatley, all the other songs are terrible. The vocals are terrible, especially in the first song, "(I Just Want to Be A) Drummer" and "Satisfaction" The only real reason to buy this CD is if you can't find "Rock your body, Rock", "Traffic", or "Classical Gas" anywhere else.

Rock Your World,
By A Customer

Well, it may move it a little...This one is better than Vol. 1 but still contains some filler. Hardcore techno fans will enjoy it, but it's no classic. If you dig hard and powerful techno, then I have to recommend Mr.Deviant's "Techno Obsession". Now that, will Rock Your World

I was impressed by Tiesto-Traffic, K-System-Sound of Arena, and Jaydee-Plastic Dreams. Pepe-Classical Gas has an odd name....the song I would rate a 2 star though. I just have to say...It was a great CD!

Better tracks than the first volume, but still gets worse score from me,

Who are these Happy Boys? They're probably happy that they can get more coke at the parties where these tracks are played: typical trance venues with $11 cocktails served. They had more of a variance on the "techno" sound that they "love" on this volume, but it still sounds like butt-rock-techno cliche.
The better tracks are by Ferry Corsten, Dirt Devils, DJ Isaac, and Benny Benassi (who changed the sound of club music after Satisfaction). The rest sound like dust on top of those better tracks, like remnants of a sound that everyone gets but doesn't necessarily like. I thought there were some interesting tracks that are still bad (the possessive Pat Benatar-soundalike-track by Ago, and Scooter's "you love it or hate it" sound in Maria). It's hard to make a comp anymore that doesn't have some flavor that doesn't suit the rest of the album, but this mix just throws you around from good to bad to worse then good...make up your damn taste!

Is this supposed to be funny?,

This is NOT techno.
It IS cheese-ball progressive trance and house. It should be illegal to CALL this techno. When I tell people I listen to techno I am AFRAID that they might think this the kind of music I am talking about.... Epic, horrible, with no creativity.

where's techno on here???,

If I could give this cd 0 stars, I would. Just by looking at the artists on this compilation and then looking at the title of the CD tells you how much "The Happy Boys" (whoever they are) know about electronic music. Most of the tracks on here are House, Trance, and little elements of Progressive House. If you wanna listen to techno, listen to WestBam. Now they are writing music that really is techno. And trust me, there are other compilations out there that are way better and are mixed properly. DON'T SUPPORT "THE HAPPY BOYS".
