The game is as fun as "playing at home" with the T.V. Show.
However, there are a few things that left me a little dissatisfied.

Four people found the screen a bit hard to see. Sometimes you had to move it around a bit. Since the questions scroll across the top, this can be downright annoying at times. In addition, if you angle it just Wrong, you see categories that are not available, they are just showing through.

I bought this for a dyslexic with "spelling issues", not to mention the rest of us are not exactly whiz kids in that category either. If you don't spell the word right, your answer is marked as WRONG. If the answer is "John Wilkes Booth" and you type in just "Booth" you are wrong. If you add an "e" to "Booth" you are wrong. Some of the anatomy questions we knew the answer, but NOT how to spell it.

Overall, it's fun and educational, I just wish it was a bit easier for my elderly parents to play with.

I thoroughly enjoy this game. I have learned alot playing it and find it very challenging. It is fun to play solo or with family/friends.
Anyone who enjoys learning and/or likes to play trivia would enjoy this game.

My son loves this handheld game (and I do as well). It's great for the road and educational!

I really liked this game. It was much like the TV show and lots of fun. However, after about a week or two, I'd be in the middle of the game and it would freeze up on me. I ended up returning it. Amazon was very prompt with my refund and this experience will not deter me from continuing to purchase from Amazon.com

All right, I'm NOT smarter than a fifth grader. I have been able to get up to fifth grade but always flunk out with only one answer to go. I found it completely fascinating to see if I know as much as a fifth grader. Buy it; you won't be disappointed.

This game is really cool and requires some thought and knowlege. It is very addicting but not mind numbing like the gambling games. It's well worth the money!

I bought this handheld game for my grandson (age 7), and I played with it more than he did. It turns out, I actually am smarter than a 5th grader. My grandson enjoyed the toy, which came on time for Christmas without damage to toy or packaging. I'm satisfied with the entire shopping experience. Thanks.

The screen on this toy must be angled perfectly to be able to play, which is my only complaint. And forget about sitting in the sunlight to play it, you won't be able to see the text on the screen at all!
But, we have played it many times, alone and in groups, and have learned that sometimes, we are NOT smarter than a fifth grader!

I think the questions on this are more difficult than the ones on the TV show. It's recommded for ages 8 and up and I bought it for my 9 year old grandson. It plays like the game show, so you have a student helper, cheat, peek and save. The questions are 1. True or False 2. Multiple choice or 3. Fill in the blank. The problem is the fill in the blank. You may know the answer, but if you don't spell it correctly, it's wrong. I'm a pretty good speller, but it was much harder for my grandson. It was fun to play with the whole family asking everyone what they thought the answer was, so we had a lot of laughs. Also fun to play by yourself to see how well you do. The Amazon price was a lot less than the price at my local "discount" store.

Five stars and two thumbs up!! Only things I would modify for future versions are the location of the speaker and a way to keep the "pencil" (or stylus) secure within its holder. The speaker is located on the backside vice the frontside. If you place the toy flat on a table to play, you won't be able to hear its sound very well. While the "pencil" has a clever holder at the top, it easily falls out. A small piece of tape solves the problem, but... Otherwise, a truly fabulous toy. I use it more than my 7 year old -- great for when you are waiting in line, etc. Since you can turn off the volume, no one next to you will be disturbed. Highly recommend!!
