Leave it to Todd McFarlane to make even an ostrich ferocious-looking. Part of the Techno Spawn collection (the 15th series in the Spawn line), Iron Express is a ferocious, 9-inch-tall, ridiculously well-armed and armored... ostrich. Laugh at it if you will, but do so out of range of its armor-slashing jaw and wings. Not to mention the head-mounted, laser-sighted, .30-caliber machine gun; the chest-mounted anti-armor missile launcher (it really fires); and the fully rotating, five-barreled 20mm cannon. Iron Express specializes in burying its opponents' heads--and bodies--in the sand, acting as a fleet light-infantry-support unit. This bionic ostrich is built to articulate at the head, neck, hips, ankles, on its larger wing, on the smaller wing attached to that wing, and on two pivot points at the jaw. --Paul Hughes
