Just an alert. I purchased a top-of-the-line Exide battery two years ago. The first one failed,and was replaced by NTB. That in turn failed, and since NTB had dropped Exide, Exide "customer service" told me to select a similar battery and submit the receipt and manufacturing number for reimbusement.
Only now, Exide refuses to refund my purchase price -- far less than the original Exide battery -- even though the Exide battery had a 36-month free replacement guarantee.
