5.0 out of 5 stars Best Bonus CD EVER!!
If u like to mix, newbie or pro, this cd is for you. I was so pleased by the different seperate tracks that was provided for each of the 3 songs. If you are a newbie like me, then you would know how hard it is to separate music from vocals or music from music. Even pro production geniuses agree some separation is virtually impossible. So this cd is a remixer's goldmine...

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't already own mixing software? DON'T buy yet!
BT. If you aren't sure who he is, start with one of his regular CDs. If you DO know, this EP has a couple of good remixes off the Emotional Technology CD and a great bonus; the ability to 'remix' The Great Escape, Superfabulous and The Force of Gravity. There is also a video for Simply Being Loved.

The down side? If you don't already own mixing software,...

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best of the New, April 21, 2004
This review is from: The Technology EP (Audio CD)
If you already own BT's latest album, "Emotional Technology", then I highly recommend that you get this; a perfect companion to ET. Featuring remixes from DJ Tiesto, Dylan Rhymes, Scott Humphrey and several others, this EP is a must for any die-hard fans. Enough about the remixes: the main draw probably to this release is the remix potions for songs Somnabulist, Force of Gravity, Superfabulous, and The Great Escape (all originally for a BPM Magazine & SonicFoundry remix contest)..which will draw any hardcore BT fan, including myself, to purchase this, reguardless of almost no original material other than remixs, great and wonderful addition to your BT collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars long time coming, like a dream come true, December 14, 2011
This review is from: The Technology EP (Audio CD)
I had to wait a VERY long time for this to arrive (we're talking months here), but it was more than worth the wait. I once owned a vinyl copy of the EP, and rank the Attention Deficit remix of "The Great Escape" as one of the best dance tracks of the past decade. This enhanced CD is a real beauty however, as the mixing parts are exactly as advertised, complete and easy to extract and use. I've already created three different versions of "The Great Escape," each in a more ambient mode [...] And I have to explore the parts of the other songs....

5.0 out of 5 stars Killer Tiesto mix, June 20, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Technology EP (Audio CD)
BT is always good and this mix EP proves it. The Tiesto mix is my favorite, just killer. Longtime BT fans will love it and new fans will get hooked.
This is one of my favorite CDs out right now, along with mr.deviant's "Techno Obsession" which is a killer mix of power rock and hard dance music.

This cd is great. I love all the remixes that are available. As if the originals were not great enough, these remixes make them even better. I am a huge bt fan, and purchasing this cd was certainly worth it! I highly recomend it to anyone who is a fan of the genre!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun CD. Remix choice bad., April 21, 2004
By
This review is from: The Technology EP (Audio CD)
I am a long time BT fan as many know. But I must say, some of these mixes on the Technology EP didnt really tickle my fancy. Anyway, I basically heard better remixes from the actually BT remix contest then those chosen for this cd. The cd however does lighten up your mood after hearing some lame remixes because of the great Somnambulist Music video and also the lovely remix files, 2 which were already released and newly released SUPERFABULOUS! That track I cannot wait to Remix!

Over all, I would pick this cd up only for the music video and for superfabolous' remix files. This is my first bad review for a BT album. (From what I heard, BT did not choose any of these mixes, for it was not his choice. The label did) Much love BT!!

The down side? If you don't already own mixing software, you won't be able to do much with the included sound files. I bought this EP because I love BT's music and the possibility of remixing my own version sounded groovy. No software (even something along the lines of 'playskool's my first dj mixer') is included. Had I known, I probably would not have spent the money, as BT enjoys putting out multiple remixes, usually available on trance/house/jungle etc compilations. Go get them there.

4.0 out of 5 stars awesome to hear JC Chasez out of the N'sync context., April 15, 2005
This review is from: The Technology EP (Audio CD)
These remixes of The Force of Gravity are an excellent showcase for how JC Chasez can sound when he's taken out of a boy band sound. I usually prefer female vocalists when I listen to Trance, but his voice works very well with this sound, as did Bryan Adams when he sang lead vocals for Chicane. My personal favorite is the Tiesto remix. Nice mellow trance.

This EP is BT at his best. I have BT's entire discography and I am not dissapointed with anything that he has ever done. If you buy one of BT's albums you will find yourself buying them all!
