Not worth the money - even on sale!,
This review is from: Sonic Technology PC600C PestChaser Commercial Model Electronic Rodent Repeller (Lawn & Patio)
I bought this, because we'd started having a real mouse problem in our home. I plugged it in, and I waited for the recommended 6 to 9 days. After 3 weeks, we set mouse traps in front of it and were catching mice daily. This didn't deter them at all. I actually came into the kitchen one evening to turn off a light that had been left on and saw a mouse sitting in front of the unit eating some crumb my daughter had dropped. The unit may have been defective (no way of checking), but I wouldn't have another one.

Commercial PestChaser,
This product is not a single solution to a rodent problem, but needs to be used in combination with traps to catch the mice. Our mouse did not leave, but started running more after this device was used. Hopefully, with the traps and the PestChaser, our mouse will be caught.

For geckos and field mice,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I did a lot of research and bought two of these after your reviews and the fact these were commercial grade and that some restaurants just buy these and leave them in all the time (which is another story) - so I wanted the "heavy-dutiness".
This instantly worked with the geckos and field mice around the BBQ grille. I don't remember if the box mentions outdoor usage, but they've been working fine, though each one is covered by an awning or archway, etc. Due to the width it is hard to plug into most typical outdoor horizontal outlets, but most typical vertical indoor outlets are all fine. Haven't seen a single gecko or mouse since. One person mentioned a slight buzzing and yes, if the house is quiet (hah!) then yes, you could hear it slightly if you really listen for it - so I would not put one in the bedroom. The kitchen and living room were fine when I was testing it out. I plan to buy more and put one in the attic and one with the water heater closet. Commerical grade - so I'll plug them in and just leave it. P.S. This is the humanitarian way to get rid of rodents, too. :) A small plus!

This rodent repeller works well if it's aimed directly at an area. However, as far as chasing pests away in a square area, such as my attic, it fails to work well. I've found droppings in the area that should be protected. I did find that if the repeller is focused directly on an area, it will keep pests away from that area, but not necessarily from anyplace behind it or to the sides.

I placed this thing in my small bedroom, and it's not even 200 sq. ft. and guess what, I always see roaches coming out from my AC duct, and even clawing over my bed, and many times too. It freaks me out! I don't believe any of this thing anymore! Roaches are so hard to get rid of! I hate it!
