The battery seems to work quite well for two weeks now. But it was really difficult to install (or rather, difficult to remove the old battery). The instruction provided was absolutely useless. Good thing for YouTube! Following the instructions there still took me over 30 minutes! The trick is to be patient in loosening the glue (actually, double-sided tape) that is holding down the end caps of the iPod Mini.

I can't say enough about this battery from Energizer. The original manufacturer battery in my iPod would not hold a charge after two-and-a-half years. I didn't want to spend the money to send the iPod back to Apple to replace the battery, so I elected to do it myself. Installation was relatively easy, and I can say that the battery holds a charge for many, many hours. I'd highly recommend this battery.

I had originally purchased an ipod battery replacement from the ipod battery depot and it lasted about 3 months only. I felt very cheated. This Energizer battery is the second one I've purchased for 2 different ipods and they both work great. I deliberately sought out this battery model/brand and I am very happy with it. It's such a hassle to change out the battery, that you don't want to have to do it very often. Spending a little bit more for a much longer lasting battery is well worth it.
