Great price on these shoes....traction is good....the uppers could be a bit stiffer - not good for really rough terrain....but for casual walks or graded trails - an excellent value!

I like a nice value and these appear to be a great buy. Just received these today, so I can not vouch for durability. They seem to run true to size and are very comfortable right out of the box with adequate support and padding. A closer look reveals clean double stitching throughout. They seem to be well constructed, with a gusseted tongue to help keep the weather out. I do not plan to hike in them, but rather wear them causally. I just wanted something comfortable and lined with gore tex to keep my feet dry when walking the dogs or out in inclement weather. These should fit the bill nicely. And I challenge anyone to find a gore tex shoe for $33 shipped.
If there are any left in your size, pull the trigger. You will not be disappointed. I would buy another pair, but Amazon just sold out of the last pair in my size.

I've been searching for a pair of normal looking, decently priced gore-tex tenners (a.k.a sneakers for most people) for a while to replace my favorite North Face shoes that I wore out a few years ago. Most gore-tex shoes are flashy and aimed towards hikers. I just want a normal looking pair of shoes that I can wear with a pair of jeans and these fit the bill. (North Face needs to make some normal looking shoes again.)
I have to fess up that I selected the ones that I did as they were on clearance for this color, but it worked out for me. The yellow is a nice light touch and the brown is great. I wish they didn't have the big honkin' black rubber piece on front, but it is what it is. The shoes are comfy and broke in quickly. I remember having Tecnica ski gear from years ago, so I trusted the brand name. These are much better that the uncomfortable Columbia gore-tex shoes that I had before this pair.

NOT ENOUGH CUSHIONING IN SOLE.,

Nice looking, waterproof shoe. Comfortable enough for a short walk or just hacking around. The problem is, for any kind of a real walk or hike, just not enough cushioning in the sole for me. Anytime I've worn these for more than 3 miles or so, I regret it.

This is a GTX XCR shoe I got for $33.
I love shopping for shoes and this is an excellent value - good fit, comfortable and good looking. What can I say? Go and get one before they're gone...

These shoes are terrific for pretty much any terrain; they're INCREDIBLY stiff and sturdy, and also very lightweight. Gore-tex XCR keeps feet dry, and they shoes are also highly breathable.
