Tecnica shoes are wonderful for a person with a wide forefoot! They are the ONLY shoes that I can wear. I now order them on-line signt unseen - as I have 4 pair of them that I used to be able to buy at various local stores. Now they are no longer available in stores, so I bought 5 pair of them on-line. I am a woman and wear mens sizes, mostly to get the width. MOst other mens wide shoes have such a wide heel that I cant wear them. These have a wide forefoot and a normal heel, so I can wear them.

These shoes are a blessing for folks with wide feet! I hope them come back in the stores!

These shoes were cheap and proved to be better than most my companions boots that were priced in the hundreds of dollars. I trekked the north Georgia mountains for 6 days straight in almost constant rain and fog. They stayed dry at least the first two days but even when wet they were not waterlogged. They were great on the rocky slopes and I never had a problem with blisters, callouses or slipping on the wet rocks. The sizing is true to its word, but the one thing I would recommend is a insole for buyers that have an arched foot. I have no arch and these shoes were perfect because they are absolutely flat on the sole. Other than that they were amazing shoes and I have never been so happy with a pair of hiking boots!

I was looking for a pair of Gore-tex boots to use for snowshoeing. Saw these at an attractive price and decided to give them a try. I have been wearing them around the house for the last few days and I have to say, they are the most comfortable boots, right out of the box, that I have owned. Seem to be well made and true to size and width.

I was looking for a cheaper pair of hiking boots for a trip to the mountains and this took care of my need. They are not very high tech and have a plastic feel. I could not take my regular hiking boots and needed something lighter and these got the job done with some reservations. Should I drop them off a cliff, I would not buy these again.
