The shoes are the best I have ever owned... so good infact I bot another
pair 4 days later..Great Italian Craftmanship..Technica is giving Nike a
higher bar to achieve.

Bought these shoes for a backpacking trip that I plan to go on in the summer. Wearing them to break them in and I really like the shoes. They are comfortable, light, and I like the design. At this price, I'm thinking about purchasing another pair.

Overall these shoes are great! The look and feel are topnotch, and well worth the price. But... waterproof they are not! I walked through damp grass after the rain, and my socks were wet at the pinky toe. I wish Tecnica would have used Gortex on this shoe like they did on some of their others. Secondly I would recommend going with a half size smaller. I have rather wide feet that push 10 D's to the limit, but these shoes are a little longer, and seem wide even on my clodhoppers. If I could do it again I would order a 9 1/2.

All in all, though, I intend to keep the shoes, as they are well worth the money paid! Hope this helps...

These are exellent comfortable hiking shoes.I was very impressed by the shoes fit and finish.the lace anchores pass all the way through the soles to the opossit lace achor.really sweet.Happy hiking

I hate to tell you, but this awesome shoe was on sale for less the $40 - and I'm sorry I didn't get two pairs.
I put it on and it is comfortable out of the box, sporting a look that is different then most, without the spacey-plastic look of many new shoes. The color is also great - I got Ivory/Wood, and it goes with almost anything.
One thing I can't comment on is waterproofness - no rain here this time of year... ;-)

They are very comfortable. However, I would order them a half size bigger than your current shoe size
