• Tri-density rubber outsole has a hard-rubber skelton frame for torsional support, softer lugs allow adaptation to the terrain. Hard rubber cleats with certral shock-absorbing "core".
• Overlasting construction designed to ensure excellent foot wraparound. The midsole is covered by the upper down it's whole length to give water tightness and lightweight. This type of last features control and a performance fit.
• Molded E.V. A. midsole to reduce high impact with the ground when running. The particular Low-To-The-Ground profile gives lightweight and maximum contact with the ground.

These are the most comfortable shoes. I bought them for hiking in Arizona and Washington State and am so unbelieveably pleased with the comfort and durabilti.

When I ordered these I guess I should have taken advice from previous review; these are men's shoes even though they say women. Oh well may keep for my husband who wears a size 10, which was the size I thought I was getting in women's. The quality is great they felt comfortable but were huge, what a shame I really wanted these.
