From School Library Journal
PreS?This brightly illustrated book follows a child and a teddy bear through the steps of the jump-rope rhyme, beginning with turning around and ending with "good-night." On the left side of each double-page spread, the youngster demonstrates the action of the verse, while on the facing page, the teddy bear follows suit. The artwork is done in bold, primary colors, and basic shapes are used to form the figures. The illustrations are large and active enough to retain the attention of the very youngest audience. This would make a wonderful interactive book for the two- to three-year-old storytime crowd, who will be eager to match their own motions to those of Teddy Bear.

Ages 1^-3. This offering from the Growing Tree series is just right in focus and format for the youngest listeners. The familiar rhyme that begins, "Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, turn around," is illustrated by a young boy and his bear, who are made out of paper collage and set against pages of bright primary colors. Boy and bear (each takes one page of every spread) are large enough to fill the page and just the right size to keep young eyes focused. Parents will enjoy using this with lap sitters, and librarians, who know the rhyme as a staple of story hours, should like having it in a new format they can use with their littlest patrons.
