Starting out as a line of toys, I knew someday these bears would be in some kind of story or movie. Each bear has a different story and that comes across very well in this first issue. Being a fan of series 1, I always loved reading the short bio descriptions of each bear, and I always wanted to know more! And this collected assortment of stories delivers and gives us insight on the adventures, pasts, and tragedies each bear has endured. Great read too! Can't wait for 2!

let me preface by saying I have not read any other Teddy Scares volumes and know nothing about them outside of what is contained. The art is good, and looks there is a lot of potential. Plot was lacking, and I was not interested in the characters. I am most likely not the target demographic for this story. I think it would be more accurately suited to younger readers, and especially those of the gothic persuasion. Will be reselling this one.

the story was good but the price was not, but i only have myself to blame for not reading the description. I would have liked it better if it was a thicker volume and not so thin.

The craft and insight that went into the making of this book rain down from the sky like a typhoon. Teddy Scares has done it again in this frightening collaboration of cutesy and mayhem! Good summer reading for you and your kids.
