5.0 out of 5 stars a great book for teens, August 15, 2001

This review is from: Teen Love: On Friendship (Paperback)
I have not finished reading it yet. But from what I have read I thought was really good. I would recommend this book to teens. It tells stories about teens. I have read many stories in this book and they are helpful to me! This book is very much like chicken soup. I would suggest this book to anyone that enjoys the chicken soup series.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love my friends, October 7, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Teen Love: On Friendship (Paperback)
This book will be so popular. I loved that it reminded me ,through stories and poems that our friends are so important. I read stories of friendships that didn't last and the pain that was caused by that. It made me want to treat my friends better. I read about becoming your own person and it inspired me to do just that. The thing I liked the best was how there would be a great story and then just a little bit of advice...from Kim and Colin.(MTV Real World) It was nice to read stuff from both a female and a male. It just worked great ,the way it went from a story to a poem to some comments. I couldn't put it down and I am on my second reading now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally awesome book!, October 8, 2000

This review is from: Teen Love: On Friendship (Paperback)
This is the best book ever! woooohooooo for the book! Totally awesome totally moving totally everything! The whole book just keeps you totally wrapped up in it. The stories make you laugh, make you cry, and just plain make your heart stop beating they are so good. I can not begin to say how much I love this book. How totally awesome this book is. (Especially the last two stores in the chapter Friends in Trouble..."One Final Lesson" and "These Days" totally drop your mouth open heart stops..etc.. stories. Or how about the story, wait if I started to write stories I loved the most I'd just have to write all of them down.) The poetry in this book is the best poetry I've read in this series. I especially love how they have advice from Colin and Kimberly on pages, like Stand up for what you believe in, etc. All I can say is this is a TOTALLY AWESOME book! and recommend you all to buy it because I'll know you'll love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book on friendship ever, December 15, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Teen Love: On Friendship (Paperback)
Being a teen is very hard sometimes and much of the difficulty caN COME FROM THOSE WE LOVE THE MOST. Our friends can make our day and yes, sometimes ruin it. The thing that I felt was so great about this book was the way they took both things into account and didnt make a good and bad friend thing about it. They understood that sometimes when we are growing up we have problems with the people we love. KIm Kirberger talks about celebrating friendship and this book does do that. but it also is honest and supportive about the hard times. My mom bought me this book, as she does all the books by Kirberger and once again it helped me more than words can say. This is another winner and all teens shouldhave it in their rooms for those times when we need to know it is normal and okay to have some rough times along with the many good ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Good Advice, April 7, 2002
This review is from: Teen Love: On Friendship (Paperback)
This book, Teen Love Series on Friendship, gives a lot of good advice to teenagers who are having problems with friends. This book is the same format as Chicken Soup For The Soul and has one of the same authors. The other author is Colin Mortensen from MTV's Real World Hawaii. And of course, the teenagers who write the stories and poems.
Topics include:
Being Yourself!
Being Your Own Best Friend
What is Friendship?
Challenges in Friendship
Making Friends
Cliques, Groups and Popularity

Friends and Lovers
and a lot more!
I recommend this book to girls ages 12 - 17.
