This review is from: Teen TV: Genre, Consumption and Identity (Paperback)
This book published by the British Film Institute (BFI) is a series of essays (with pages each of references) on Teen TV shows in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia (one essay on Heartbreak High) by adults for adults. It has no pictures except for the cover. While the parallels drawn between shows are interesting, many shows are part of TV history and may not be familiar to all. The essay on gay characters is a bit outdated.
