5.0 out of 5 stars Keep the Comic Book Universe Games Coming
Im gonna get right to the point. Overall a very fun game. Its listed here as 5 stars but Amazon wont let me pick 4.5 stars. I give this game a 4.5 on all counts. Its a great action/advaneture/beat em up/side scroller game. It has everything to keep you entertained. You can switch between any of the 5 team mates at anytime. Each hero with their own unique powers. Beast...

Its a great action/advaneture/beat em up/side scroller game. It has everything to keep you entertained. You can switch between any of the 5 team mates at anytime. Each hero with their own unique powers. Beast Boy, Raven, & StarFire all have the ability to fly in the air & never come down unless needed. The art design is exactly like there cartoon network counter parts. I wish this game was on the Nintendo DS rather then Gameboy Advance. But atleast i can play this GBA game on my GameCube. I do wish they pushed the power of the Gameboy Advance as far as they could on this game to make the graphics look amazing. Other than that its very fun, pretty visuals & nice 2 have your favorite heroes on the palm of your hands. I cant wait till the GameCube/PS2/XBox version comes out. A must have for game & comic book fans alike.

5.0 out of 5 stars GO!, November 9, 2005
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Teen Titans (Video Game)
Ok, I'm really tight with my money so I tried to find this used at the local stores and couldn't so I finally just paid the 29 bucks and I think it was well worth it. Being able to switch characters any time you want makes it as cool as XMEN Legends gor the cube...Considering there are 5 playables and they all have different special attacks--I think Majesco slammed a homer. I love BeastBoy's rhino charge and Raven's black shield. What I don't like---is if you didn't get far enough into a level when you save, you have to start back at the beginning of that level. Tip--don't save at end of levels, save at beginning of the next level to assure you get to start on the new level when you continue. :) Great game--switching off characters with such ease easily makes this one of the best GBA games EVER.

3.0 out of 5 stars Teen Titans for the GBA, July 29, 2006
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Teen Titans (Video Game)
I will admit, I'm 16 and still find Teen Titans to be highly entertaining as a tv show, and I was secretly hoping they would make a game based on it because I saw potential. I was hoping for a fun game that takes advantage of their wacky personalities, and also use of each of the five Titans special powers. Luckily, my hopes were answered very well with this game for the Game Boy Advance.

You start off with the Hive busting into the Titan Tower, and after you chase them off you are left to wonder what they were doing there in the first place. But shortly after you realize that they have actually cloned your titans, leaving you to fight these replicas. Enemies are never hard, but rather a fun challenge. Take Jinx for example. She has the ability to drain your life and give restore hers, as well as messing up your controll pad, making you walk backwards instead of forwards and etc. However, like I said, it's never too hard, just fun.

And as I hoped, you can change you characters on the fly just by holding the L button and selecting your titans. Also, a nice bonus is that your titans don't share health meters (meaning that if Starfire is almosts dead, then you can switch to Beastboy and start anew with full health while Starfire's stays low.) Plus, your enemies will be colored, which indicates their weakness. So, if an enemy is yellow, you should switch to Starfire and they will die easier, blue for Cyborg, Red for Robin, etc. And this all in all equals up to a fun, colorful game.

However, there are reasons I knocked it down a few stars. Playability is solid... however, since this is the GBA combos are VERY limited. And after a while you find yourself just doing the same moves over and over again. Also, is it just me, or is there a dominant color in the game? For me, I constantly found myself with yellow enemies, making me use Starfire throughout a lot of the level, which also meant her health inconviently stayed low throughout most of the levels. But that was the only playability flaw, which is very minor making it potential to be a GREAT game series.

My only other nag is that the game is so short. A mere 6 levels really is hardly worth 30 dollars. But still, each of the six levels are fun, colorful, with fun bosses. So all in all, the game can keep anyone entertained (well, anyone who doesn't automatically write off Teen Titans as a childish kiddie game.) And it is definately worth your time if your a fan of the series.

A Kid's Review

This review is from: Teen Titans (Video Game)
I LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE this game. I was 75 percent done in about three hours. My fave moves are Raven's Telekinetic Attack, and Starfire's Starbolts Spread. The most helpful person is Raven. The bad guys are colored, so say a bad guy is blue Cyborg would have the most damage on him but say Raven went after the same guy she would only have average damege on him. Here are the colers, Robin red, Cyborg blue, Starfire yellow, Beast Boy green, and Raven purple. I wish I could rate this 9999999999999999999 stars or more stars. This game is sssssssssssssssoooooooooooo awsome. There's a trick you should know for when you battle Jinx, when Jinx shoots somthing purple at you and it hits it''l make you have a glitch, when you press left arrow you go right and vice versa, the trick is prees the right arrow if you waana' left and vice versa, the glitch will stop when you stop blinking. This game is the BEST ever in the history of the universe. You atgha buy it NOW!

4.0 out of 5 stars Only 6 levels, February 26, 2006
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Teen Titans (Video Game)
Well my 6 year old loved it but has figured out all the levels, comparatively he has Super Mario and he still coming up with new levels and challenges - It took him less than 2 months of sporadic playing. I found there are no cheats available either - is that common for GBA?

5.0 out of 5 stars Teen Titans for GBA, August 14, 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

I purchased this as a birthday gift and the birthday loved it. He plays it all the time. It was "user friendly" enough that my 6 year old was able to decipher how to play just by interacting with the game.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Game, March 24, 2007
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Teen Titans (Video Game)
You can control any of the five titans one at any time with the push of a button or two. I liked it because you're not penalized for switching and you can pick the right Titan for the job. The only thing I might have done differently though, is that when you have a character sitting out for a while, their life/energy rapidly restores. This makes the game a little too easy and health/energy pickups almost unnecessary at times.

You have a limited number of attacks per character, some require energy. They did the powers really well though. For example, you have three flyers (Raven, Starfire, Beastboy), but you don't really use up power flying. I think you may use a little when you first take off, but after that you can fly around all you want. It's actually an advantage with Starfire/Raven as their flying attacks are projectiles. If you hover a few feet off the ground you can shoot unlimited free (but weak) projectiles at enemies.

Overall a pretty good game, a little low on the number of different enemies and a bit to easy at times, but very fun game. I've played it through at least 5-10 times since I got it and would still go back again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very amazing., March 22, 2006
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Teen Titans (Video Game)
This is the first Game Boy Advance game for the Teen Titans series. In fact it's the first Teen Titans video game for any platform ! And I have to admit, this is very amazing.

It has such impressive gameplay and graphics. Not to mention some awesome unlockables via collecting hidden cards in the game. Like in "Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-ED-ventures", you get to switch out the Titans each with his or her own special powers.

Basically, the concept of this game involves the HIVE stealing all of the Titans moves and making horrific Titan clones. It's up to the real Teen Titans to end this once and for all.

So in hindsight, it's a good game. But brace up, the multiplatform game for PS2, XBOX, and Game Cube are on the way !
