Nice, flashy costume but confused about the size..., October 26, 2009
I ordered this costume from another site and it was listed as a plus size women's 16-20. I think I'm around a 14-16. I received the costume and the tag inside the dress states that it is a 12-14 which is the standard size shown here. I tried it on and it's very large on me so I have to assume it must be labeled wrong? I'm going to tweak this costume by adding a black devil tail, gothic belt, bat wings, striped tights and arm warmers. The wings that come with this costume are just fabric slid onto plastic bent rods. The rods are supposed to insert into slots in the dress. I just can't see the wings staying unless you sew them into the slots of the dress, they are too heavy and move around too much to stay put without some help.
