A kool jingle!,
A Kid's Review

This CD single features a great song, with superbly matched lirics. It's something no-one has really heard before. It starts off slow but gradually speeds up to a fairly quick tempo. The voices of the band Wheatus, are very unique, and the film clip suits the song very well. The song is also featured in the film Loser. Wheatus rock my world for sure! Its a great song!

This song tells the truth about a teenage realtionship and a kind of a nerdy tyoe of guy who has a secret crush. This song starts out about this guy and the girl that he likes walking towards him and stuff like that. When he thinks she is coming over to him all of a sudden her boyfriend shows up behind him. If you watch the music video, you will see what I am talking about. But then she starts realizing that he is really the guy she needs to be with not the creep who she is with right now. So at the Senior Prom she comes over to him and asks if he will go to the Iron Maiden concert with her on Friday night. May I add I hope the same thing happens to me with the gurl that I like except that she doesnt have a boyfriend so it is even better

Emily's Brill Review!,

This is a FANTASTIC song and so is the video! You've gotta hear it, at the mo, it's at no:2. This song has a really catchy tune that'll leave you singing for days... It's hard to realise who's singing the girl bit but it's actually a boy! This song is about a boy dreaming. He really fancies a girl at his school. He goes to the prom in his dream and suddenly (during the song)this girl walks over to him offering him 2 tickets to a Iron Maiden concert. He can't believe his luck. Then he wakes up.BRILL!!!

Pangs - rock out to it,
By Michael Ashley Schulman (Boston, MA USA baby) - See all my reviews

This is true modern rock. The everyday painful innocence of youth and the gut wrenching butterflies of emotion are set to modern light thrasher rhythyms by this band from Long Island, New York. They have the power of angst with perspective. Vocals are audible and cool. Bass and percussion are strong, but not overpowering. This is a very well produced band. I can hardly wait foe their next full album release. Note: They have been nominated for a Billboard Award for the Modern Rock Best New Artist Clip of the Year Award.

By Pheng (CA, USA) - See all my reviews

Well, When i first listened to this song, i was like, what the heck? o ok...is this a guy or girl singing? and then i found out a guy was singing;but i don't know if the girl part is ACTUALLY a girl part. Hmmm, then i listened to the lyrics more closely, and i was like whoa! Catchy tune, nice beat, great instrumentals and a nice voice. WOW, i was like singing it in school, and i just loved the chorus! "I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby! I listen to Iron Maiden baby, cause i'm just a teenage dirtbag baby! " I love it! I was singing it for a week, then my friends told me to stop, lol! So i recommend that u get this! PLUS, Rock lovers, i think, if u like heavy stuff, don't get this. My friend doesn't this song, and she's soo into rock stuff. I love all kinds of music, so I RECOMMEND IT!!!

uh.....what?,

i don't really know what everyone here is talking about. the song teenage dirtbag is not rock. it is EMO. getting a band with vocals and lyrics that whiny to sing about iron maiden is like getting an athiest to do sunday mass. it doesn't happen. and when it does, it sucks. there isn't even a guitar solo. all the instruements are backup for the vocals. that's not what rock is about. its about the music and guitar and the speed and how it all....rocks, for lack of a better word. this is just another emo kid bitching about a girl he didn't get, again.
