Finally Funi is getting its act together and has released 5 episodes of the series on one disc, making this a real value for fans (for those keeping count, this season will be avaliable on 6 discs, as opposed to season one, which Funi spread over 8).

However, not all the episodes are worth watching. "Return to the Underground" is probably the strongest, as it resolves some issues from the "Notes from the Underground" arc in season 1 while raising some new questions. "What a Croc" is also a great episode, but with a rather abrupt ending. And "Return of the Justice Force" is a nice homage to the comic book silver age and is one of the more entertaining "stand alone" stories in the series.

"April's Artifact" is decent, if not spectacular. But "Junklantis" is a stinker, and is pretty much just a commercial for the Shell Sub toy. I'm hoping they give Garbageman a better story next time.

Still, three great episodes and one mediocre one, plus a bonus stinker for those keeping count. Probably the most episodes we'll ever see Funi put on one disc, so it's worth picking up.

This is not a review, just a question. I have a couple copies of this on DVD and one of them was pressed on a red disc. I can't find any info on this and was wondering if it was a special edition or something like that. Does anyone eles have this on a red disc or knows why some were made like this?

The usual excellent combination of action, comedy and good leadership expressed with a high standard of cartoon animation and story writing. This series has yet to disapoint!

In this volume, fans are introduced to Leatherhead. Some are unhappy with this character because he's not the tyranical type from the original series. But I enjoy this incarnation better. We also get to see what happened to Baxter after the events in the TCRI building. Return to the Underground is also a nice epelogue to the three parter Notes from the Underground from the first season. Ties up a lot of loose ends. I haven't watched the other three yet on this Dvd, but I bet they're ok. Well, except Junklantis. That one and Garbageman from Season 1 need to be scrapped. What do they contribute to the main story line? So you gonna buy it yet?
