While I always liked Leos Ninja-like style, Raphaels anger made him most human-like for me. I never knew which one I like most, they have both cool sides and together they are best. So those were the first two toys I bought, followed by Don. Unfortunately the Raph figure is not as good as the other turtles. The first point is his colour, it's way to bright, a bit darker green would have looked more like the tv version and would have more fit in with his character. Second are his sais. Why does Playmates continue in giving Raph the wrong sais? The toy has sais looking like short sworts, while the tv and comic Raph has sai-forks, which he can put through his fingers. ToyBiz's Marvel legends Electra has those forks. Third is his belt. They should have made the places for the sais at his belly, not under his arms. You can't really put them in there. But after all the figure is still cool. The modeling is much better then the old one's, the paint job is good and the face has a real good expression. So I give 4 stars, but it could have been five.

GUESS WHAT GUYS? TMNT ARE BACK!!! THESE TOYS ARE THE BEST. better than the old ones. i highly recommend these toys to any tmnt fan, but i prefer the small ones better because they come with more accesories than the big ones and are more articulated.

I guess you can't keep a good franchise down. This figure is great in the following ways: it's sculpting and paint scheme make it look amazing and the material it is made out of is pretty flexible so it can withstand abuse pretty well. This figure does have small parts and comes with a string and hook so that the figure can glide down so I'd keep this away from small children. The biggest failure of the figure is its stance. It's not very posable in the leg area (the arms have 4 points of possablility each while each leg has one) so it might be frustrating to kids to try and stand this up or put him in a vehicle. Like any toy I'd buy for my children, I'd go see it for myself first before getting it so go check this out in your nearest toy outlet.

He likes imitating the action scenes from the original TMNT movie. I like that this toy is well-made and has varying textures on its different surfaces which is a surprising bonus from a plastic toy.Since he saved his money for this toy and then had to wait until Playmates released it, he's been very pleased with it. For younger kids, watch out for the small pieces and bendable parts. We will likely buy the rest of the set.

Is it just me, or does everybody have some kind of nostalgic disease. If it is just me, I'm glad I have it. Over the period of my childhood, I probably collected over 75% of the original Ninja Turtles action figures. So I was pleasantly shocked to see them hanging so proudly alongside the G.I. Joes and Wrestlemania Super Duper Deluxo Real Feel Juggernaut line (okay, I'm not into the whole wrestling thing) in my local toy store. Man are these figures cool! I always wished that the originals would look like these do. I mean, aren't they just perfect! I don't think they could have made them better, even if Toy Biz lent them some of that Lord of the Rings weaponry. Anywho, Raphael has always been my favorite (something about the brooding emotional distress, or lack thereof) and I am pleased Playmates has brought him and the gang back to life. Buy this figure, or suffer the wrath of Raphael's twin sai of death! Have fun all you Turtle nuts!!!

Raphael, the Hot Head of TMNT's new Action Figure i must say is just Turtle-Rific, He comes with 2 Sais, 2 throwinfg stars, and a a cool little line that can make him slide from place to place, The Rapheal toy just looks cool with his mean looking eyes. You Cant Just Beat The New TMNT Toy LineKeep It Green!!!

In my opinion the Sais were more sturdy with this Raph: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 25th Anniversary Action Figure Raphael
Plus the Sais holding spot 'should have been' on the front instead of the sides. Other then that this is a great improvement from the 25th Anniversary Raph.

the ninja turtles are the best line and actually i hate toys that are articulated because i can't make them move around properly!! and also I HATE JOINTS AT THE KNEES AND ELBOWS!!!!
they're really annoying because i played with a few figures from the line called "G.I. joe valor vs. venom" and they have joints on everything and i try making them walk but they go to high. ANYWAY the new line of turtles figures is the BEST line ever!!!! The shade of green is PERFECT on all the turtles too.

ok first why is everyone complaining about the articulation??
at least we have it!! what if we didn't have it at all??? and raph's sais are not a problem you can still put them in his hands and they still work. ok here's what i do:i take one sai and put the part where the three sais come together at the handle and stick it through the OPEN part of his hand and he holds them like that!!

This is my favorite toy. He has a cool soft chest, and u can throw him off the stairs and he wont break. THIS TOYS SO COOL. Too bad the sais are flexible. The zipline is a cool addition, and so is the DVD that came with this. Donny sucks balls though.
