The dinosaur is nicely detailed, and so is Raph. The dinosaur runs pretty fast when you use the rip-cord, and the dinosaur is well-balanced, so he doesnt fall over. Raph has this long lance that he carries that looks neat. My son loves this toy and has a blast with it. My daughter, on the other hand, is scared to death of it because it moves so fast (for rip cord motion) and looks like it is chasing her, which is a bonus for my son.

My 4 year old son received this for his birthday and was cheering! He is HEAVILY into dinosaurs right now and this feeds the needs. He loves that the TMNT can ride the triceratops and he has control.

The rip cord is a great and welcome addition to the toy. It makes no noise other than a walking sound. It requires no batteries. My son lined this guy upw/his BC Builders and played for hours. I will be getting him the other dinosuar available.

NO obnoxious sounds. No batteries. Happy child. Happy parent. What more could you ask for. I cannot believe how happy we all are w/this TMNT set.
I did not get this toy for any educational value. I got it for FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Warning! Legs do pop off but go on easily.

I bought it for a 5 year old and he loved it. It was his favorite present at his B-Day

My kids love Ninjia Turtles and have them a lot. But this set is something special! The dinosaur and Raphael are well done and the dinosaur doesn't need any batteris (it's a big PLUS). Though it doesn't have any educational value still it's a great toy. So I bought two more for presents (and the box is BIG - another plus for it as a present:))

Great product it was a hit for my son's birthday! Works well, and for those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans you can't go wrong here!!

My husband and I love this toy as much as our boys do. It is a big plus that it doesn't take batteries. And my boys love making the dinosaur walk. They spend hours each day playing with this toy. It is very durable. My husband accidently sat our couch on top of it and it didn't break!! The legs fell off but they snapped right back on. It is a great toy for dinosaur fans or Ninja Turtle fans.

My 4 yr old loves this. This is much stable and when reved up, goes to a far off distance, no matter on carpet or bare floor. Great way to introduce Ninja turtle cahracters to children. This is not just a dumb toy, it walks when you rev it up. The character on the top is dumb though. He doesn't do anything much. ;-)))

We purchased this toy for sending as gift to India. We waited for 8 days to get it Super saver.. it was worth the wait. Toy very detailed and rip cord action is fun to do.
Toy walks royally and fun to watch.. best of all I don't need to replace any batteries..Great toy over all.

My kids really love this toy! We take turns trying to see who can get it to go the farthest. So far my son's record is 12 feet! The triceratops is well made, as is Raphael. And he doesn't fall off when he rides either. To me, the best part of the toy is the fact that it doesn't require batteries. I would highly recommend this toy, no noise, no batteries, well made, what more could you ask for?

This is a very simple toy. It is a walking triceratops that Raphael rides. To make the dinosaur walk you put a long toothed cord in the triceratops and pull to start the mechanical action. This can be awkward to figureo out, but it is easy if you just hold the tail. This is no flimsy piece of junk, all parts are sturdy and well able to handle abuse. The cord too is sturdy plastic, though I can see with repeated uses the teeth can wear down over time. It can be bent and twisted and still work. The detail on the dino is fantastic! Nicely shaded with a really cool harness and a saddle that Raphael fits into with ease. Raphael doesn't even twitch when riding on the dino's back. A large problem with many "riding" toys is that the characters fall off all too easily, but with this toy you can put Raph into his seat and he'll never even twitch. They didn't forget Raph's really cool bandana either. The absolute best point about this particular toy is that it requires no batteries what so ever. That one cord is all you will ever need, and even if you DO lose the cord, the child (or you) can still play with it.
