This is classic punk rock played as it should be. Raw, angry and from the heart. None of that watered down rubbish here just a band standing up and saying whats on its mind. Great music and great lyrics that realy give you a feel of the times they were living in.

Fans of early Clash, Cockney Rejects etc will love this one.

this is angelic upstarts best album. if youre lookin to get a good kickin off point have a go at this one

This was the Angelic Upstarts first full length record. Heart felt, inspiring, angst ridden punk anthems. I agree with the previous reviewer as fans of early Clash would enjoy this record. My only complaint, is while like "Murder of Liddle Towers" + "Police Oppression" are some of the best punk songs ever written. There's 4 or 5 tracks on here that really don't stand the test of time and come across very mediocre. If you're musical taste are geared towards "punk" and punk only....I would skip every AU record after this.

Well done by the upstarts , often overlooked when classic oi bands are discussed.Fast rifs and killer drums make this album somthign to dance to and somthing to believe in.

I jam to this one all the time. I think the the Upstarts are hardcore to the max! Check out this cd and believe me you will be happy. These guys paved there very own path. Youth, Youth, Youth. Youth Leader, your a Youth ,Youth, Youth. Youth Leader. Tried to stop, them breacking windows, keep the kids, off the street
