And I clearly remember my mother,...... And how she would not let me be....... At the time I was very impatient,...... And hungry to live my own life,...... So we argued a lot back in those days,...... And it caused us both heartache and strife....... Now the picture is strangely familiar,...... But I play the part of the "Mom."...... And I know that I scream and I worry,...... And too often I'm not very calm....... Still, I hope you know that I love you,...... And no matter what we may go through,...... Nothing on earth could change that,...... I"ll always be here for you.......
