4.0 out of 5 stars Great idea!, August 17, 2011
This review is from: A Teenager's Guide : How to Manipulate Your Way to Happiness: 37 Easy Steps in the Care and Feeding of Your Parents (Paperback)
I found a wonderful unexpected use for Kevin Denny's teen guide of How to Manipulate Your Way to Happiness. Next time your teen is grounded, instead, have them stay in, until they read three chapters of "A Teenager's Guide" and report back what they read (otherwise, of course one would not know if they truely read it).

What the teen will find that it is funny, makes sense, will teach them. Probably not enough not to get grounded again but next time they will be given five chapters to report on before being set free, etc.,etc.,etc.

It also gives talking points if the parent reads those chapters too.
